Dividing of Horizon in Degrees. Conversion.

Dividing of Horizon in Degrees is for determining directions at sea and is made in relation to certain plans and main lines.

The Degree is the angle at the centre corresponding to an arc which representing of a 360 part of the circle length and which again is divided into 60 minutes.

The direction at some object is the dihedral angle between the plane of the local meridian and the vertical plane passing through the object.
